News The prize "European Transport Company of the Year 2010" has been awarded on February 11th, 2010 in Bruxelles , within the framework of a ceremony that got together more than 1200 people, reprezentatives of the hauliers, of the transport industry and of the specialized press from the whole Europe. Being in the competition with another 5 finalists from Germany, Sweden, United Kingdom, Belgium and Netherlands, International Lazar Company has obtained a 3rd honorable award, after the representatives of United Kingdom and Belgium. European Transport Company of the Year 2010 International Lazar Company will represent Romania at the European Transport Company of the Year 2010 contest, which will take place in Brussels, on the 11th of February 2010. From a number of 11 companies present in the semi-final, 6 were selected for the final. International Lazar Company A successful company guarantees the quality of its rendered services by certain strong arguments. For a well-known freight forwarder like our company these arguments became certainty. International Lazar represents the absolute leader of the road transport in one of the best represented regions from the economical point of view. Our trucks can be seen on the important highways of Europe , defining massiveness, flexibility, readiness and safety. We carry goods mainly in Europe , but our trucks have been present on other continents as well ( Asia and Africa ) Although we are focused on the transport of general goods, we carry out transports of extra large equipments or specialized constructions transports. Even if we started as freight forward company, by the time went by, the need for developing services in the logistics field increased. Our domestic and foreign partners conducted an extremely useful exchange of experience for us, an intra-group concurrent scenario which was challenging and stimulating, and an innovative and more and more competitive work environment. We acquired together the team work psychology in the Romanian business environment. Although our communication mean with the drivers is still the mobile phone, the main mean of tracking a truck is, nowadays, by satellite, due to GPS systems. Although the company undergoes a period of consolidation for the considerable investments made in the latest years, the strategy for the near future is to use the already existing material assets by adjusting them to new possibilities for turn to good account. A correct management of resources provides a certain degree of safety and the continuity of our business.
